2003 USA POWERLIFTING MEN'S NATIONALS

If you ever want to find out just how well your friends and family and community will back you up just try hosting a national Powerlifting championship then to top off the test make it the most prestigious meet in American Powerlifting, the USAPL Men's Nationals.
Well my crew of family and friends and community sponsors came through and judging by the number of compliments received they performed at a level rivaling any other Powerlifting crew in the sport.
I will let the real reporters give you the story on the actual meet results I just want to thank all the hard workers that made the meet a success. First of all to my wife Brenda for all the support and running that kept things moving behind the scenes, next to my stepson Jamie for running as good a platform crew as there is in Powerlifting, Mike Laird is responsible for what is the most advanced Powerlifting scoring and tracking system in the sport I have never seen an array of technology like what Mike amasses at a meet. Jim Hart came through as my technical secretary and what a big load that takes off a meet director! With the work Jim did during the meet there were sometimes when it almost seemed like a day off compared to my local meets where sometimes It seems I have to cover darn near everything to get though the meet.
