Jenn Rey

New Athlete's Representative: Jennifer Rey

Hi, my name is Jennifer Rey and I have just been elected Athlete's Representative. I am very honored to have been elected by my peers to this position. Here is my short bio:

I got my start in Powerlifting in 1990 at Louisiana Tech University under Dr. Billy Jack Talton. I was on the 1994 National Championship team and was a 4 Year All-American. I won Junior Nationals in 1992 and competed in Junior Worlds of that year. I have been competing in the Open division since 1993, winning in 1998 & 1999 and competing in the World Championships those years. I took a year and a half away from competing and have been back for one year. I am on my way to Hungary for the Bench Press World Championships and I am so very excited to be on a World Team again. I live in Aurora, Colorado and train at The Rocky Mountain Lifting Club with the most amazing group of people ever. I would like thank those people that have been a tremendous influence in my life in Powerlifting: Coach Talton, Wade Hooper, John Tabarlet, my parents and last but certainly not least Dan Gaudreau. Each of you has made me a better person and athlete in your own special way.

As Athlete's Rep I will voice the opinion of all athletes in the organization to the best of my ability.
