What:  This National event is exclusively for our Youth, age 8-13

Qualifications to compete:

You must have achieved a total in at least one USA Powerlifting sanctioned competition between Jan 1, 2017 and Jan 18, 2018 to be eligible to compete in this event. This means, this event can not be your first USA Powerlifting event.

USA Powerlifting Membership is required.

Weight Classes (in kilos):
Girls: Girls: 30, 35, 40, 43, 47, 52, 57, 63, 72, 84, 84+
Boys: 30, 35, 40, 44, 48, 53, 59, 66, 74, 83, 93, 105, 120, 120+

Divisions: Y1 (8-9), Y2 (10-11) Y3 (12-13)

Meet Cap: This event will be limited to the first 60 lifters registered.

Awards:  Awards will be given to the top 5 places in each weight and age category.

Spectator Admission:  $10
*One adult will receive free admission with their lifter.  Any adult coaching, handling, or assisting a lifter must be a current USA Powerlifting member, no exceptions.  The warm-up room will be monitored.

Meet Custom T-Shirts: Meet Tshirts will be available for pre-purchase for $15 or $20 at the event, sizes limited.

Drug Testing:

You must be drug free for at least 36 months prior to the date of this meet to be eligible to compete.  At least 10% of all lifters will be tested by urinalysis.   Banned substances include but are not limited to anabolic steroids and growth hormones.  The complete list of banned substances is available on the web site of the World Anti-Doping Agency (see www.WADA-ama.org).  Youth who turn 14 in the 2018 calendar year are subject to drug testing.
